We welcome referrals for patients with complex dental conditions requiring comprehensive diagnostic evaluation and interdisciplinary consideration. Our role is not to replace your care. It is to support it by providing clarity in cases where structural, functional, and biological factors may be interacting in ways that are difficult to fully isolate within a single discipline.

Referrals are appropriate for patients presenting with unclear or conflicting diagnoses, suspected occlusal or functional instability, progressive wear or shifting dentition, complex restorative or full-mouth rehabilitation planning, TMJ-related symptoms or suspected dysfunction, periodontal and structural overlap concerns, complex periodontal patients needing functional stabilization, or persistent symptoms without clear etiology. We also welcome referrals for diagnostic clarification prior to definitive treatment planning.
Referred patients are evaluated through a structured Diagnostic Clarity framework that integrates structural, functional, and biological assessment, plus long-term risk and stability analysis.
Different disciplines naturally emphasize different diagnostic perspectives. We integrate these perspectives into a unified clinical understanding to support treatment planning by the treating clinician. Not all findings require intervention, and not all interventions require immediate action.
We prioritize continuity of care with the referring clinician unless there is clear communication to proceed otherwise.
The default pathway. Patients are returned to their referring provider following diagnostic consultation and advanced evaluation, preserving the existing treatment relationship.
We regularly collaborate on complex interdisciplinary cases. Treatment sequencing and role allocation are determined through direct communication between providers to ensure coordinated care.
Transfer occurs only when requested by the referring clinician, when the patient-clinician relationship has ended, or when all parties agree that transfer is clinically appropriate. All transitions are coordinated directly between clinicians.

Our role is limited to diagnostic evaluation and interpretation. Definitive treatment planning and clinical execution remain the responsibility of the referring clinician. We approach every referral with the same goal: clarity in diagnosis, precision in interpretation, and long-term stability in outcomes, while strengthening the referring relationship, not replacing it. Following evaluation, referring clinicians receive:
